      As a massage therapist I took a continuing education class in essential oils and that what started this journey of soap making!  Starting out we used the hot process method, which is cooking the soap in a crock pot. Soon we went to the "Old Fashioned Way" of making soap. It's called cold process, meaning we make sure our oils and lye water are within 5º of each other and never hotter than 95º to 120º rather than putting it in a crock pot it's brought to what's called trace and then transferred into a mold. I often refer the cold process way of making soap as the steamed vegetable version of soap rather than boiling it!

      Within 24 to 48 hours it's taken out of the mold and then cut where it's placed on a rack for four (4) to six (6) weeks to cure. By doing so it also helps to keep the natural glycerin in the soap which helps to hold the moisture in your skin! All soap is made lovingly and with the strictest of standards.

      Then we started branching off to acrylic items, but then there was more to make for our clients because they asked and we delivered by offering items that are sublimated and now using a laser for items such as house signs, unique cutting boards and tumblers.  So much fun with the laser and more items to come.

      Soap is still our first and foremost love and that will never change.
